Nothing better
I have used this stuff forever and there is nothing better (not even baking soda and water) at removing build up from your hair.

If you are looking for the very best of clarifying shampoos, Redken Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo is my personal favorite. It contains fruit acids that purify hair and work to remove residue so often left behind on the hair by other shampoos, conditioners and styling type products. All these products build up over time and cause my hair to appear dull and lifeless, so I alternate my regular favorite shampoos with this one, and try to use it at least every two weeeks to provide optimum deep cleansing. The product labeling says it contains copper chelators which dissolve and remove metals such as copper, irons, and other minerals left on the hair if you have hard water in your area. I find it leaves my hair very shiny, with a nice clean feel and texture, and incredibly refreshed looking. Used regularly between other products, it makes my hair feel and appear much more healthy and clean. I also love the tingly eye-opening citrus aroma of the shampoo.

Removes buildup from hair better than any shampoo
Redken is probably my favorite line of hair care products, although slightly expensive for regular use, but I especially like this shampoo to use at least every two weeks as it removes the buildup left behind by other shampoos or from any styling or conditioning products. I believe it also removes the environmental residue built up on the hair from being in traffic or urban areas or pollen from outdoors. My hair always feels much cleaner and seems softer and less heavy after using this product. I had been using Neutrogena previous to this to remove build up and as a super cleanse, but I really love this thick rich shampoo even better. The extra small price you pay its definately worth it for this fine product.
